Business Computers Software, Inc has developed an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) phone server to enable employees to clock in/out with a phone.  An employee can now use any telephone in the world to clock in or out of the Time Matrix Time Clock.  Employees working off site at job locations or a customer’s location can now easily clock in & out.  It only takes seconds for an employee to clock in/out.  When the employee uses the phone to clock in or out the Microsoft Great Plains SQL data base is automatically updated with the caller ID phone number and name.  Supervisors & managers using Time Matrix are able to tell which employees clocked in/out using a phone.

The Time Matrix Time Clock works with the M2SYS biometric finger vein reader.  Finger Vein authentication is a quick, non-invasive means of making sure people really are who they claim to be. The M2SYS Finger Vein authentication system captures images of the vein patterns inside your finger. These, like other biometric patters are unique. In addition, because they are inside your body, finger vein patterns are virtually impossible to replicate.

Bar Code Scanner
The Time Matrix Touch Screen Time Clock can use laser "gun" bar code scanner.  It can read bar codes on employee ID badges and bar codes for projects printed on 8 1/2" x 11" paper.  It uses a laser wedge reader and does not need a power supply.  The laser bar code scanner is very simple to install.

Magnetic Card Reader
The Time Matrix Time Clock can also use a magnetic swipe card reader.  The Time Clock ID is stored on track 2 of the magnetic card.  The cost is under $100.00.  Installation is very simple.  (1) Unplug the keyboard from the computer.  (2) Plug the keyboard into the magnetic card reader.  (3) Plug the magnetic card reader into the computer in the exact same place you unplugged the keyboard.  You are sent software drivers, but you will not need them, so do not install them.
