Navigator for WENN/SOFT

The Time Clock Navigator shows the relationships between Time Matrix by Business Computers Software, Inc., Job Cost by WENN/SOFT and Dynamics by Great Plains Software, Inc.  Red arrows show time transactions.  Green arrows show lookups.  Yellow descriptions show data table names.  The Time Clock uses employees entered in Dynamics Payroll for lookups and verification.  The Time Clock uses jobs and cost numbers entered in WENN/SOFT Job Cost for lookups and verification.  The Time Clock looks at the actual WENN/SOFT data tables.  Making a change in WENN/SOFT Job Cost is immediately reflected in the Time Clock.

Upon an employee changing WENN/SOFT jobs or clocking out of the Touch Screen Time Clock, a time transaction is sent to the Logbook.  The Logbook stores all employee time transactions.  The Logbook posts to WENN/SOFT Time Tracking.  WENN/SOFT Time Tracking commits time transactions to Dynamics Payroll.  Employees check processing is completed in Payroll.

The Time Clock Navigator can be used to access programs in both Time Matrix and Dynamics Payroll.  Clicking on a button will bring up that form.  For example, clicking on the Maintenance button in Payroll will bring up the Dynamics Employee Maintenance window.  This is the same result as Cards>>Payroll USA>>Employees.  Clicking on the Employee Time button will bring up Employee Time Entry.  The Time Clock Navigator makes it easy to start programs and view their relationships.
